LifeServe Blood Center and Guttenberg Municipal Hospital & Clinics are excited to announce their partnership. LifeServe Blood Center, ranked as one of the top 15 blood centers in the country, is the sole supplier of all blood and blood products to patients who entrust their care to Guttenberg Hospital.
LifeServe Blood Center provides 100% of all blood products needed to 175 hospitals primarily across Iowa, South Dakota, Nebraska, and Illinois. The partnership between LifeServe and GMHC allows residents and community members the opportunity to save lives in their neighborhood. As a community-based blood center, LifeServe only hosts blood drives in the communities where that blood will go back into the area hospitals.

Guttenberg Municipal Hospital & Clinics invites the community to join their partnership with LifeServe at their upcoming blood drive on Monday, March 31 from 12-4:30 p.m. in the Education Center at the hospital (200 Main St., Guttenberg). You can transfer your donations from another blood center to LifeServe by visiting lifeserve.info/transfer. Once you complete the form found on the webpage, we will do the rest and make sure your donation accomplishments are updated in our system.

Open House for Dr. Johnson
Guttenberg Municipal Hospital & ClinicsThe community is invited to meet Dr. Christopher Johnson, primary care provider, at an Open House on Monday, April 14, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM in the lobby of Cornerstone Family Practice clinic in Guttenberg.
Dr. Johnson recently joined the Cornerstone Family Practice team and is dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals and families in the community. A recent patient shared, “Dr. Johnson was thorough, caring, and I liked him a lot.”
This event is a great opportunity for patients and community members to meet Dr. Johnson, learn more about his medical approach, and ask any questions in an informal and welcoming setting. Refreshments will be served. We look forward to seeing you there!
